One word to describe this release… WOW! Something fresh on Black Rock Records by Jose Nunez and remixed by Steve Mac. The original is nice and upbeat with a big bouncy synth pattern and some offbeat percussion, love it! Steve Mac’s remix is a tad more chilled than the original, taking the same stabby synth but adding some filtering and a nice funky bassline underneath. This really is awesome and definitely something to get excited about! Don’t take my word for it though, have a listen and buy it..

Low Steppa – Trackin EP
This is something fresh on the Form & Function label from Low Steppa. Two amazing deep house tracks, the first being ‘Trackin’ which has a nice big warpy bassline and some awesome subs. Love the use of the vocal which gives it a real old skool vibe. The next track is ‘Everybody’ which has a nice bouncy garagy feel to it. Big stabby vocals laid over some huge rhodes chords. I will be putting this one in the gig bag and giving it some airplay on my radio show! Huge EP..

The Deepshakerz – SNATCH! OFF06 EP
Three part EP from The Deepshakerz released on Snatch! Records. Kicking things off with ‘Everybody’s Gone’ which is a well produced tech house tune. This doesn’t have a huge bassline that makes it stand out but it does have a big bass sound that follows the kick drum and loads of stabby little vocal snippets, love it! The second track is ‘Wait The Vibe’ and has a nice long breakdown with a female vocal before kicking into some really techy drums. The third track is a deep house organ based tune called ‘Don’t Let My Body’ with a great flowing riff and some nice bass stabs. Great EP and it’s getting a lot of attention from the big players! Get your hands on it now…

Juan Ddd – La Vida Loca EP
This is a two track EP being released on DJ PP’s label ‘PP Music’. The first track is ‘La Vida Loca’ and features ‘Elegant Hands’. It reminds me of the old 2-Step UK Garage days as it actually has an old garage MC rapping over the top then drops into a warpy bassline! Brings back some memories! The second track is ‘Pekin’ and features DJ Smilk. This is a bouncy tech track with loads of different elements kicking in and dropping out. Nice simple bass pattern and an eerie vocal that caught me by surprise before the breakdown! Breaks down to pretty much nothing before a big build and drop! I like this!

Kruse & Nuernberg ft Leftwing & Kody – Turning
Released on Off Recordings is this deep house stormer from Kruse & Nuernberg featuring Leftwing & Kody. Well, listening from the beginning I was expecting quite a chilled atmospheric deep house track but then this amazing vocal snippet kicks in before a nice warm floaty bassline for a few bars, then WOW.. Big bassline! The fusion of big deep house drums, this huge bassline, the vocals and a high pitched arpeggiated synth create one hell of a track.

Dani Masi & Djahir Miranda – Locodance
Part of a bigger release on Insolito Records, this is something I simply had to write and let you all know about. I used to use the term ‘blippy tech’ quite a lot and this track just sums that term up! This track is carried by a nice lively bassline pattern, big tech drums… and those blips…. Amazing! Definitely a main room stomper, you’d be mad to pass this up!

Sergio Pardo, Jordi Lazaro & DJ Gray – Coherent Echoes EP
Out now on Wawaviva Records is this great two track release titled the ‘Coherent Echoes EP’. I recently wrote a review for another track from Sergio Pardo and DJ Gray and have put them on my list of ‘ones to watch’ as they are coming out with some great things at the moment. The first track on this release is ‘Take Me Home’ which consists of some huge techy drums laid under some stabby synth patterns and a floaty delayed vocal. Definitely one for the main room of the club! The second track is called ‘What You Think’ and is a real nice funky tech house tune complete with a brilliant guitar riff, bouncy drums and stabby vocals. I love the breakdown, it has a nice vocal, some building snares and that infectious guitar riff. Awesome EP!

Agent Orange – How We Do (Egoism & Max Bett Remix)
Part of the ‘Streets Stuff Vol.7’ release on Deeperfect, this one deserves a mention in its own right. Huge deep bassline sitting under some great tech drums and a great pitched down vocal too! I particularly love the breakdown on this, the riser gets you ready for an almighty drop! It’s a big one! Released on Deeperfect Records..

Dolly Rockers & Lizzie Curious – Gotta Groove
I said a while back that you’d be hearing a lot more from the Dolly Rockers and I wasn’t joking! They are back and teaming up with Lizzie Curious for this monster of a track. I have previously reviewed tracks from both the Dolly Rockers and Lizzie Curious and you can hear the fusion between both styles in this one. Pairing the huge, bouncy tech house production from the Dollys with the distinct, infectious vocal from Lizzie, this track is an absolute winner!

Marco Primucci ft Jenny Jackson – Could You Love Me
I expect big things from this track purely because of the label it’s on and even with big expectations and high hopes, it doesn’t disappoint! A nice new one on Hotfingers. This one is a little different in the respect that there’s no big breakdown, build and drop! It’s a pretty steady flow with some amazing synth patterns and a nice airy vocal. I love this tune! Have a listen, its awesome!

DJ Dan & DJ PP – Don’t Stop
Nice little funky bass riff to this one. Something fresh on InStereo Recordings from DJ Dan and DJ PP (Gabriel Rocha), two producers who are absolutely flying at the moment. Definitely a good vibe given out on this, I particularly like the breakdown with the repetitive vocal and a gentle build before the bass riff kicks back in. Well produced and brilliant! Buy it!
