ATFC – When The Needle Drops (Fight Club)

I simply couldn’t resist blogging about this one. ATFC is without a doubt one of my top 5 producers! In the past year or so I feel that he has changed his style a little and I’m not quite sure how I feel about that but he is certainly still churning out quality tunes. Take this one for example, ATFC makes use of some nice acoustic snares and brass sounds with a rap vocal over the top, a bit different to what I would normally blog but nice all the same!..

James Benitez – U & Me

I recently got sent this track by Strangelove Records and unfortunately I can’t find a Soundcloud link so the sample can be heard on the Beatport page or by clicking the YouTube video. This one definitely deserves some recognition. James Benitez uses a great classic sounding bumpy bassline along with a brilliant disco vocal. Very upbeat and great for the dancefloor, lovely!..

Mark Wilkinson Vs Mikalis – Keep On Keepin’ On

I was in a little club in Hove a couple of months ago and heard Brighton based dj/producer ‘Mikalis’ drop this one, lovely remix by himself and Mark Wilkinson of the classic ‘Jinny – Keep Warm’. Mikalis told me the release dates for this and I have been eagerly awaiting it, absolutely massive tune released on Kidology. Buy it!!..

Angelo Ferreri – It’s So Good (Original & Iban Reus Remix)

Three amazing remixes of Golden Girls, released on Prok & Fitch’s label ‘Floorplay’. I’ve got loads of love for this track, my dilemma is choosing which remix I want to play. Do I go for the Kraak & Smaak version? The Jeremy Olander, or the Grant Nalder & Adam Asenjo mix? Tough choice!..

We are really late with this track as it got released last year but its not always about the new tracks, we post about whatever is floating our boat at that particular time.
