Sergio Pardo, Jordi Lazaro & DJ Gray – Coherent Echoes EP

Out now on Wawaviva Records is this great two track release titled the ‘Coherent Echoes EP’. I recently wrote a review for another track from Sergio Pardo and DJ Gray and have put them on my list of ‘ones to watch’ as they are coming out with some great things at the moment. The first track on this release is ‘Take Me Home’ which consists of some huge techy drums laid under some stabby synth patterns and a floaty delayed vocal. Definitely one for the main room of the club! The second track is called ‘What You Think’ and is a real nice funky tech house tune complete with a brilliant guitar riff, bouncy drums and stabby vocals. I love the breakdown, it has a nice vocal, some building snares and that infectious guitar riff. Awesome EP!

Agent Orange – How We Do (Egoism & Max Bett Remix)

Part of the ‘Streets Stuff Vol.7’ release on Deeperfect, this one deserves a mention in its own right. Huge deep bassline sitting under some great tech drums and a great pitched down vocal too! I particularly love the breakdown on this, the riser gets you ready for an almighty drop! It’s a big one! Released on Deeperfect Records..

Dolly Rockers & Lizzie Curious – Gotta Groove

I said a while back that you’d be hearing a lot more from the Dolly Rockers and I wasn’t joking! They are back and teaming up with Lizzie Curious for this monster of a track. I have previously reviewed tracks from both the Dolly Rockers and Lizzie Curious and you can hear the fusion between both styles in this one. Pairing the huge, bouncy tech house production from the Dollys with the distinct, infectious vocal from Lizzie, this track is an absolute winner!

Marco Primucci ft Jenny Jackson – Could You Love Me

I expect big things from this track purely because of the label it’s on and even with big expectations and high hopes, it doesn’t disappoint! A nice new one on Hotfingers. This one is a little different in the respect that there’s no big breakdown, build and drop! It’s a pretty steady flow with some amazing synth patterns and a nice airy vocal. I love this tune! Have a listen, its awesome!

DJ Dan & DJ PP – Don’t Stop

Nice little funky bass riff to this one. Something fresh on InStereo Recordings from DJ Dan and DJ PP (Gabriel Rocha), two producers who are absolutely flying at the moment. Definitely a good vibe given out on this, I particularly like the breakdown with the repetitive vocal and a gentle build before the bass riff kicks back in. Well produced and brilliant! Buy it!

Gary Willis – Go Get Yo

This one is out on Oliver Langs label ‘DOJO Music’ and is an absolute stomper! In my opinion Gary Willis is absolutely havin’ it at the moment with releases on other labels such as Vamos & Koolwaters, and some other forthcoming releases already in the pipeline. This track is a huge main room tech tune with some bouncy vocal tech stabs, big breakdown and a mega drop. This is guaranteed dancefloor hit. Exclusive to Beatport until 10th Feb, a sure winner for DOJO!

Schuhmacher & The Sloppy 5th’s – Rock’n’Rolla

Huge tech track released on Sphera Records. I’ve got loads of love for this label, every release is awesome! Using the beginning guitar riff from ‘Reef – Place Your Hands’ looped and laid over some big bouncy tech drums. Schuhmacher & The Sloppy 5th’s have used just enough of that sample to not make this cheesy, but instead turn it into a main room underground monster track. This is a must buy! Definitely going in the gig bag ready for the weekend!

Coyu – Coyu Edits Volume 3

The latest release on Suara Records, and this time all three tracks are Suara’s head honcho ‘Coyu’ putting his own spin on, and remixing some previously released material. The first up of the remixes is ‘Charles Ramirez & Baum – Fire Alarm (Coyu Edit)’ which as said in the name contains a repetitive siren alarm sound sitting over a big deep bassline and a techy hat drum pattern, great tune! Next up is ‘Maurice Aymard & Gui Boratto – Home (Coyu Edit)’, now this one is very laid back with a funky, deep sounding bassline and a chilling high pitched synth pattern. Not usually my style but its awesome, great breakdown and loads of strings! The last track is ‘Metodi Hristov – Earth (Coyu Edit)’, I gotta say, I love this track! So many different elements to it.. Big complex drums, shakers, and a tribal feel to it. Although not something I’d play in a main room but it’s simply amazing. All round fantastic release on one of my favourite labels ‘Suara Records’. Enjoy!

Mennie & Diavlo – Freaks EP

This is a big room tech house stomper consisting of three huge tracks. First up is the track ‘Freaks’, trust me this tune is massive. Big energetic drums with a deep techy bassline, great breakdown too. Next up is a track called ‘Warp Melody’ and it comes along with an additional edit from Mennie. The original is another main room tech track with a huge breakdown and riser/snare build up, I can definitely imagine this taking the roof off in any big house event. Last up is the Mennie Edit of ‘Warp Melody’ which isn’t too different from the original, a few tweaks perhaps and a slightly different breakdown. Released on Great Stuff Records, it’s a biggie!

Hosse – The Beginning EP

Huge release for Urbana Recordings and a first on the label for Hosse. This EP features two tracks, the first being ‘Keep The Fire Burning’. This tune is brilliant, it has a nice bouncy bassline pattern laid under some nice hats and deep drums.. Big! The second track is called ‘Join Hands’ and also has a nice bouncy repetitive bassline, I love the way the drums come in and drop out again, it makes the track slightly quirky! Nice breakdown before a huge riser and drop.
