Modium & Lizzie Curious – Let It Roll

Something brand new by Modium featuring the vocals of Lizzie Curious out on Whore House Records. This is a very high energy, piano driven track with a nice flow. I am familiar with Lizzie’s vocals from some of her previous tracks (I’ve even reviewed a few) and this one is up there with the rest of them. The whole track is married together perfectly with simple piano chord stabs, a big breakdown and build up, all before the big drop. This track just oozes summer, and it makes me smile when I hear it!

Hoxton Whores – Everybody Dance Now

Here’s a track that was released at the beginning of April but after dropping it recently at a student party on the South Coast and watching everyone go mad, I thought it was time to shine a light on it!

I’ve always been a big fan of the Hoxton Whores and in the past couple of years they have really stamped a unique sound into the tech house scene, even to this day I still occasionally drop their remix of Blueboy’s ‘Remember Me’ and now there is this fantastic remix of ‘Everybody Dance Now’. Sure, it still keeps some slightly cheesy elements from the original but they’ve also added some awesome tribal drums, big risers and a whopper of a bassline!
